My name is Kyla. I grew up in church and I've been a Christian my entire life. But it wasn't until 2020 that things completely changed for me, and my walk with the Lord. In the midst of an ending relationship, I hit my rock bottom in utter brokenness. My heart was broken, my soul was bruised, and my spirit was weary. Little did I know, God was drawing me near to Him. God was doing a work in me as the life I had created for myself was crumbling apart and falling through my hands like sand. During that journey, I turned to the Lord in pain and desperation. I became more involved at my church, I started reading my Bible, I surrounded myself with other believers, I praised my way through heartache, and cried out to the Lord to restore my broken relationship. The more I did these things, the more He revealed Himself unto me and He restored my soul. He healed my wounded heart, and He made me whole again. He molded me into who He created me to be, for such a time as this. I pray my restoration testimony helps others to know there is hope in the brokenness, there is light in the midst of darkness, and there is a loving God who restores all things as if they are brand new.
